Well it was a very good week for me so far. Tuesday was mission 8-3 day for CoP. Passions and I climbed the Taru tower and got our key item so we could go fight the 4 pots to finish 8-3.
I had arrived in Sea early to do some farming. It was a good farming session for me since I got the last 4 items needed for this:
Wednesday rolled around and I went out to Sea to do a little more obi item farming while I waited for the rest of my group to gather for running mission 8-3 and 8-4 CoP. Everyone gathered and we set off. The 4 pots were an easy target, we just had 1 thing happen on our climb to the BC. This damn Aw'Grah was just being relentless. We would sleep it, go through a couple teleporters and then BAM! come out of a teleporter and get just slapped around until you get it slept again. It was kind of funny after the initial shock wore off.
After the 4 pot BC, we headed over to go against the big bad himself, Promathia. This guy has some moves that are so annoying, like silencega that you can't use echo drops to remove, and AoE damage + knockback + stun. We had a rough start, our ninja got owned, and then it was everyone else's turn to eat dirt a few times. We all RR'd a few times, but ended up running out of time. The 2nd run didn't go much better, and we couldn't quite keep Seltheus alive so we were ejected. A couple of the people in our group decided to head back to town, grab some supplies, and change a sub job. Well, maybe it was the break, the change of subjob, or something completely different. We went in and had a good run on Promathia and finished the BC with no problem.
Well after you beat the BC you have to wait until JP midnight to finish the cutscenes. You have to travel all over the world to get them, but it's worth the time and effort to get them. After you finish you have to make a choice.
Needless to say, since I am a blm. I chose this one.
Oh man does it feel good to put that item on. It is one of those items that is worth the wait and the adventure to recieve it is one that I will remember always. This adventure was 9 months and 3 statics in the making.
Thanks for reading!
Peace,
Shmed
